I noticed that everyone has been very generous with their tips lately. To be honest, whenever Xiao Long checks the review section, he gets quite excited. Moreover, after writing this book, I've become increasingly obsessed. Whenever I type away at my manuscript, I often have a blissful and silly grin on my face. This morning, as I was falling asleep, I had an idea—if each reader who reads my novel tips me one dollar, the website would certainly be shocked ~~However, tipping requires money, so how about everyone votes for 12000-word updates Each person can vote once to see how many readers there are~~ And Xiao Long promises not to have a burst of inspiration and update up to 12000 words... uh, is this promise quite awkward

When she saw that Hao Ren and his grandmother were both in the hospital ward, she confirmed that she hadn’t entered the wrong room. So she walked slowly up to Hao Ren and then turned towards his grandmother who was lying on the bed, asking with concern, "Granny, are you feeling better"

"Haha, I’m much better now." His grandmother answered briefly before turning her head slightly and asked Hao Ren curiously, “Who is this...”

“Oh, she’s a young lady I’ve been tutoring recently named Zhao Yanzi. It was her mother who brought you to the hospital last night after you fainted,” Hao Ren replied.

Hearing that Hao Ren had called her “young lady”, Zhao Yanzi pouted slightly in displeasure.

“So you’re my little savior!” His grandmother immediately looked at Zhao Yanzi with a grateful gaze, "Come closer, let me take a good look!"

Seeing his grandmother beckoning her, Zhao Yanzi moved nearer to the bed.

The grandmother squinted slightly due to her age and happily scrutinized Zhao Yanzi. Upon clearly seeing this ponytailed young girl who was so adorable and cute, she couldn’t help but feel a surge of affectionate warmth as an elderly person. She reached out to stroke Zhao Yanzi’s head fondly, saying, "Such a pretty little angel!"

Hearing his grandmother's praise, Zhao Yanzi revealed a sweet smile with her eyes crinkling into crescent moons, making the grandmother even more enamored.

"Ah Ren, Xiao Zi is my savior. You must take extra care and effort in tutoring her!" The grandmother stroked this delicate girl who looked like a porcelain doll a few times before turning to Hao Ren and saying.

Zhao Yanzi seemed to have obtained a "heavenly sword," and she proudly tilted her chin at Hao Ren. Facing his grandmother, Hao Ren could only nod in agreement.

"Speaking of which, how did you get here" Hao Ren asked Zhao Yanzi again.

"There's only half a day of classes on Friday afternoons, so I thought I'd come and visit," Zhao Yanzi replied.

Though she spoke calmly, Hao Ren knew that she was actually worried about his grandmother and had come to check up on her. While looking at Zhao Yanzi, he thought to himself that despite the girl often having a sharp tongue, her heart wasn't bad.

"Have you eaten lunch" Hao Ren asked next.

"I was planning to go home for it," she answered.

"I happen to be buying my grandmother lunch. How about I get an extra portion for you" Hao Ren offered, knowing that Zhao Guang was at work and Zhao Hongyu appeared busy with a foreign visitor today, so Zhao Yanzi likely wouldn't have anything to eat if she went home.

Zhao Yanzi thought it over and left her schoolbag on the chair beside the hospital bed. "I'll go with you," she said.

Grandma lay silently in her bed, watching their conversation and thinking that this little girl was quite nice. However, she couldn't have imagined that this seemingly well-behaved little girl was actually her "granddaughter-in-law."

Zhao Yanzi and Hao Ren went downstairs together and bought three lunch boxes from a nearby hospital restaurant before returning to the hospital. Perhaps because Zhao Yanzi had come to visit his grandmother of her own accord, Hao Ren felt somewhat surprised by this change in her behavior. He thought that maybe she wasn't as troublesome as before.

When they arrived at the ward, several nurses were preparing to transfer Hao Ren's grandmother to a new room. It turned out Zhao Hongyu had asked for special treatment through her friend who was an acquaintance of the hospital director, so Hao Ren's grandmother was being moved from her regular room to the best single room in the hospital.

Hao Ren and Zhao Yanzi helped carry some items and followed the nurses along with his grandmother to a brand new, north-facing single room filled with fresh air.

Seeing how many things Zhao Yanzi was carrying, Hao Ren felt even more warmly towards her in his heart.

The nurse pulled back the curtains, and the brilliant sunshine from the garden outside immediately filled the hospital room. This had to be one of the best rooms in the entire hospital.

"Grandma, have your lunch!" Seeing that his grandma was settled down, Hao Ren brought her lunch.

"You two should eat as well; don't go hungry!" Grandma looked at Hao Ren and Zhao Yanzǐ, urging them to eat. She felt that as a young girl tutoring Hao Ren, Zhao Yanzǐ had already done enough for the day.

Hao Ren and Zhao Yanzǐ each opened their own lunch boxes. When Zhao Yanzǐ saw braised pork in Hao Ren’s box, her eyes and mouth watered, and Hao Ren could only take some of it to share with her.

Seeing them bicker affectionately, Grandma looked at them both, somewhat puzzled.

After lunch, Hao Ren had a nurse come to change the saline solution. He then helped his grandma settle down for an afternoon nap. Zhao Yanzǐ was originally planning to go home, but with such a spacious and comfortable room, she decided to stay and finish her homework instead.

Sitting at the desk by the window, bathed in sunlight, Zhao Yanzǐ's petite frame showed signs of developing into an elegant figure. Her delicate waist, peeking through the blue school uniform under the light, traced out a slender curve.

Her arms, stretched out from her sleeves, were like translucent jade in this clean sunlight.

Hao Ren sat beside her, closely by, patiently answering any questions she had about her homework. Their shadows on the hospital room floor intertwined as if they were leaning on each other.

Time slipped away unnoticed. With Hao Ren's help, Zhao Yanzǐ completed most of her weekend homework. Some of her textbooks were still with Hao Ren and he would only be able to return them to her on Monday.

"So you've moved into this room..." As a soft voice came over, Hao Ren and Zhao Yanzǐ turned around to see Zhao Hongyu in professional attire appearing at the door.

"Yanzi, what are you doing here" She looked surprised upon seeing Zhao Yanzǐ.

From Zhao Hongyu's expression, Hao Ren was sure that Zhao Yanzǐ had come to visit her grandma on her own initiative rather than being told to do so.

"Hmm, let's go see郝仁’s grandmother," 趙焰紫 put away her homework and said.

趙紅玉 smiled with satisfaction, probably thinking that 趙焰紫 had suddenly become懂事了 (grown up).

When 郝仁 saw 趙紅玉 carrying a large bag of fruits and nutritional supplements, he hurried over, "Auntie, why did you bring things"

"I'm here to visit your grandmother. A little token," 趙紅玉 smiled slightly and placed the fruits and supplements on the bedside cabinet before asking 郝仁’s grandmother, “Are you alright”

郝仁’s grandmother wasn't stupid; she understood their relationship from 趙紅玉 and 趙焰紫's conversation. She sat up shakily, "Thank you for sending this old lady to the hospital yesterday."

"No need to say that! It was my duty!" 趙紅玉 replied readily.

The grandmother continued, "The cost of staying in the hospital..."

趙紅玉 pressed her grandmother's hand to stop her from continuing, "Please don't worry about such things!"

Finding it hard to refuse 趙紅玉’s politeness, the grandmother protested, “No no...”

"Aunt! There's no need for formalities between us; we're family," 趙紅玉 said offhandedly.

"Family" The grandmother looked at 趙紅玉 in confusion.

郝仁 felt his heart drop to the floor with a thud.
