Chapter 571: Her and His First Night

dle.She checked and found that Zhu Xiaowei had called using a public phone abroad. Public phones are still quite popular overseas. Perhaps her current location could be traced based on this number.Hav...Such a scene brought to Jun Zhi Mu's mind, the first night he led her back to the Jun family.

She stood on the edge of the bed, her body tense with alertness. Although she was very tired, she dared not climb into bed to rest.

Jun Zhi Mu glanced at her, sensing she seemed preoccupied. He went into the dressing room and grabbed a set of pajamas before heading to the bathroom for a shower.

Qiao Ba'er breathed a sigh of relief the moment she saw him close the bathroom door.

She didn't know what to say to him. The two of them were alone in the spacious master bedroom, and it still felt awkward.

The sound of running water came from the bathroom.

Sleeping in the same bed.

She knew she couldn't escape tonight, looking at the big bed in front of her, she strategically analyzed it and decided to sleep on the right side of the bed. If something happened, it would be easier for her to get out of bed and run away.

She still chose to sleep on her right side. Junzhi Mu came out of the bathroom and saw her at a glance, lying like a corpse, huddled up on the right edge of the bed under a thin blanket.

Turn off the main light in the bedroom, leaving only a soft bedside lamp on.

"...Keep moving towards the edge, and you'll fall into the space under the bed." Junzhi Mu saw that she was behaving like a raging flood beast and reminded her impatiently.

Qiao Bao'er's heart skipped a beat, she didn't dare to move. She just lay at the edge of the bed, trembling.

Junzhi Mu reached out and pulled her back. "Don't move."

Qiao Bao'er was tense throughout, her body stiff. This man was lying beside her, covered by the same blanket. Their skin was touching. His body was hot, filled with a masculine aura. Qiao Bao'er couldn't help but blush.

Jun's thoughts drifted back to when she was a kitten, with sharp teeth that had bitten him countless times. She would even dare to steal his blanket! Now, she was so well-behaved.

She even blushed.

Junzhi Mu's heart felt amused. She suddenly forgot him, and there was a benefit to that - she became more obedient.

He deliberately rolled over, pinning her beneath him with an air of dominance. His deep eyes burned into her blushing cheeks, his voice a husky murmur, " Qiao Bao'er, shall we explore this further Perhaps you'll remember."

Qiao Bao'er was as if struck dumb, staring blankly at the man above her, forgetting to refuse.

Junzhi Mu knew about her slow reflexes.

He was unrestrained, his rather rough hand reaching into her nightgown, gently caressing her soft body, her smooth skin. She felt a tingling sensation.

Until his large hand's fingers neared her chest...

Qiao Bao'er's whole face flushed red, and she shouted angrily, "Ah, your filthy hands! You, you get them off me—"

"Don't move."

Jun's grip remained as he pressed down on her, his right hand lingering on her chest for a full minute, tentatively stroking the skin around it. He wasn't in any hurry; he merely lightly touched the injury on her right breast.

Until the lord was satisfied and finally let go of her, lying down beside her pillow, he noticed her face was as red as a boiled shrimp. She looked so frustrated, wanting to be angry but afraid to speak up.

She is easier to bully now.

"Tomorrow, I'll take you to the club to meet some people." His voice softened.

Jo Baoer didn't hear a word he said. Her mind was muddled, and she huddled under the covers, on edge and terrified all night long.

Just like the first night she married into his family, the man beside her didn't touch her. She struggled until the middle of the night and fell asleep unknowingly from exhaustion.

Junzhi Mu was not asleep.

Looking at her face, a heavy feeling weighed on his heart. His voice was soft and barely audible, " Qiao Baier, what I said before about not remembering you was a lie. Now that you've forgotten me, it's true."

After two years together, how can you just forget me so easily

The next day, Qiao Baier woke up to find the man beside her already out of bed.

She wasn't sure what time he usually woke up, as she had slept soundly last night.

It was possible she had greeted the servants at home and, approaching midday at 11 o'clock, no one had entered the room to wake her.

"...He seemed to say last night that he was going to take me to meet someone" Qiao Baor's memory was a bit fuzzy.

She got up slowly, her movements gentle because of the injury on her chest.

A loud meow suddenly came from the spacious balcony on the left.

Jo Bao'er followed the sound and turned her head. She was very surprised because last night, a strong wind blew from the east, so the glass door on the balcony had been closed by the maid.

Outside the balcony, bright sunshine streamed down, and Qiao Bao'er could clearly see a black cat with shiny dark fur.

It bumped its cat head against the glass door, making a soft thudding sound, as if trying to get her attention inside on purpose.

Jo Baoer was truly astonished.

This cat seems to have a certain spirit. When the black cat saw her turn to look at it, it immediately sat up straight. Its golden eyes stared at her intently, and it flicked its tail, patiently waiting for her to come and open the door as if expecting her to do so.

Jo Baoer walked cautiously toward the glass door, her heart filled with suspicion and curiosity. "Do I know you"

The cat seems to know her well and isn't afraid at all. It just sits there, waiting for her.

However, Qiao Bao'er had idealized the count's temper, and the count was too lazy to wait for her.

Just as Qiao Baier carefully opened the glass door, the black cat stood up on all fours. It walked to a corner of the balcony and placed a yellowed, folded piece of cowhide paper in front of her.

Then, as if its task was completed, before Qiao Bao'er could react, the black cat leaped agilely down. There was some rustling sound from the grass below, and then its small figure disappeared.

"This guy is so rude." Qiao Bao'er leaned on the balcony railing and looked down, but she couldn't see the cat anywhere. She mumbled in dissatisfaction.

It seems she used to interact with it like that.

She picked up the yellowed parchment from the ground, "What is this Who would send a cat to deliver a message Could it be a treasure map" she murmured to herself.

"Is this really a treasure map" Qiao Bao'er's eyes widened. She had just been making things up, but she didn't expect that the piece of cowhide paper would actually be a map when she opened it.

Several mountains were drawn, looking like islands in the sea. Around the islands, a group of them was surrounded by a haze, like fog.

Has geographic coordinates.

A thick dashed arrow was also drawn, seemingly pointing the way to enter this island area.

In the center of the map, a graphic resembling a stone coffin is drawn, and next to it is a drawn scepter.

Joe Baoer couldn't understand what these symbols meant. She carefully held the piece of cowhide paper in her hand and examined it closely....

This yellowish paper seems quite old, with a rough texture that doesn't feel like anything made today. The black ink map, drawn by hand, feels like it was created by someone centuries ago, maybe even longer.

This ancient piece of parchment has a line written in the lower right corner.

Jo Baoer couldn't understand this ancient script; the characters were somewhat worn.

"...Could we go find an archaeologist to research these ancient writings"

She was muttering to herself, putting the piece of parchment away when she noticed with surprise that on the back of this precious parchment, someone had used a modern pen to lightly sketch a line of characters.

Strogonoff Archipelago to regard him with favor.I told the old butler to instruct everyone in the Jun family to fully cooperate with the work.Twenty minutes later, the face of the person sitting in the main monitoring posi...
